The Annual FundAnnual Giving provides an avenue for parents, grandparents, alumni and other friends of the school to make tax deductible contributions that directly offset operating expenses. These include salaries, and benefits (which together are over 70% of the budget), mortgage payments, and the maintenance of the classrooms, buildings and grounds. No private
school can meet its operating expenses by tuition alone A successful annual giving campaign helps us keep tuition increases to a minimum--and unlike tuition, contributions to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible. The Annual Giving year begins in the fall. Parent volunteers contact parents and alumni by phone, inviting them to make MSB their charity of choice. Donations can come in at any time during the remaining fiscal year which ends June 30. This means that a family can pledge a donation in October, but redeem their pledge with payments spread out over the next eight months. Donations to the Annual Fund can be made using VISA or MasterCard accumulating valuable airline miles. To do your part and contribute to the Annual Giving Fund, simply click the Donate button to donate electronically. Or, send a check to the school indicating Annual Fund Donation on the memo line. Once your donation is made, we will mail you a receipt for tax purposes and an Intel matching form if appropriate. |
