Admissions Process: 4 to 12 year-olds

The bulk of our enrollment is for 3 year-olds. Openings for 4 to 12 year-olds are not as common. Because of our unique program, priority is given to children with previous Montessori experience.

We strongly encourage you to learn more about our program on our website and see our campus firsthand by attending an Informational Event.

You can complete our Parent Interest Form in order to alert Admissions of your interest. We will keep your information on file for 6 months. If an opening becomes available we will contact you to set up a classroom observation and meeting.

The final step in the admissions process is a child visit. This is a unique opportunity for your child to visit the campus, see a classroom and meet some staff. Submission of a Parent Interest Form or an application does not guarantee a child visit or enrollment.

Policies

MSB welcomes all prospective applicants and their families.

MSB is committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all persons and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, religion, or physical characteristics in employment, educational programs and activities, financial aid, and admissions policies.

Admissions decisions are based on many factors including gender, age, and a comfortable fit within a Montessori environment as dictated by the balance of the existing multi-age class. We give priority consideration to siblings of enrolled students and to children of alumni families, faculty and staff.
